From July 26 to 28, 2024, the "2024 International Forum on General Medical Education and Grassroots Medical Service Development and the Academic Annual Conference of the National Rural Order oriented Medical Student Training College Alliance" was held in Jilin, hosted by the National Rural Order oriented Medical Student Training College Alliance and organized by Jilin Medical College.

At the meeting, the award-winning works of the first general practice clinical teacher teaching competition organized by the alliance and the excellent papers in the annual essay competition were commended. The competition course "Age Related Cataract" by Professor Su Yang from the Ophthalmology Teaching and Research Office of our hospital won the second prize, the competition course "Treatment of Acute Leukemia" by Professor Xiao Yue from the Internal Medicine Teaching and Research Office won the third prize, and the "Influence of the Course" Introduction to General Practice "by Professor Huang Mi and Professor Feng Guibo from the General Practice Teaching and Research Office on the General Practice Understanding of Rural Order oriented Students" won the excellent paper.

The achievement of the above honors is not only a recognition of the teaching and research achievements of the teachers, but also an affirmation of our hospital's targeted medical student training. It also inspires all teachers in the college to further deepen education and teaching reform, improve teaching quality, and contribute wisdom and strength to the cultivation of more high-quality grassroots medical and health talents.
